Ingredients

Or make your own teriyaki sauce

  • 1/2 cup of coconut aminos
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
  • pinch of Chinese 5 Spice
  • *cooking spray for the sheet pan

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 °F
  • If making your own teriyaki sauce, combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, then add the bacon strips to the bowl and mix together ensuring all the strips are fully coated with the sauce
  • If using premade teriyaki sauce, add teriyaki sauce to a large bowl, then add the bacon strips and mix together well to ensure fully coated with the sauce
  • Next on a sheet pan sprayed with cooking spray add the bacon strips spread in a single layer
  • Bake for 20 minutes or more depending on how crunchy you like your bacon
  • minutes of baking gives the bacon a nice firm texture, with a little bit of crunch and some chewiness
